Parfums de Rosine was founded by Paul Poiret in 1911. He named the fragrance house after his own daughter. Fragrances of the house enjoyed great popularity, but it didn't survive the Great Depression. Marie-Hélène Rogeon has revived the house in 1991. Marie-Hélène was born into a family of perfumer, her great-grandparent worked with Paul Poiret. Her fascination with perfumes and perfume bottles started when she was a young girl. At some point in her life she realized the importance of perfumes in her life and, tired of mainstream and designer offerings, Marie-Hélène decided to re-open the house Les Parfums de Rosine in order to create original, unique and beautiful compositions made from natural essences. Her creations, which include perfumes, perfumed soaps and body creams and candles, center around the scent of roses. The rose scents she composes are never boring as, even after many years, the fragrant qualities of a rose still have the ability for surprise and fascinate her, Marie-Hélène says. Her customers that she feels close to are people who look for original scents without being influenced by the ever-changing fashion trends. Marie-Hélène values not only natural ingredients and the fragrant creations. She focuses on beautiful and appealing packaging as well. Her first creation was Rose d'Eté from 1998. The floral and fruity fragrance is based on a strong rose and refreshing nuances of green apples. Un Zeste de Rose, a floral composition with prominent notes of Italien amalfi lemon, was presented in 2002. Ecume de Rose, a floral and aquatic scent that is loved by many women, was released the same year. Rose Flamence from 2004 features rose and orange blossom. Une Folies de Rose, the other creation from the same year, is a chypre composition with an intense musky feel. The year 2005 saw the launch of Parfums Rose, a floral fragrance with woody accords. Rose d'Amour, an intense floral with prominent notes of aldehydes and pepper was one of the fragrances that were presented in 2006. The other women's fragrance that was launched in the same year was the floral, woody and musky composition of Twill Rose. Secrets de Rose, a scent with oriental and floral notes, was successfully launched in 2009. Another oriental-floral composition, Une Rose au Bord de la Mer, was presented in 2010. 2011 saw the offering of La Rose Extreme, Clair Matin and Glam Rose. Designer Les Parfums de Rosine has 54 perfumes in our fragrance base. The earliest edition was created in 1998 and the newest is from 2021.
