Gabriela Sabatini is an Argentine tennis champion who launched a line of fragrances in the late 1980s.Sabatin's tennis career began at the tender age of 6, and she entered her first tournament at just 8 years old. She was a junior international tennis champion by age 14, with several titles under her belt including the Girls' French Open.She entered the world of adult competitive tennis at age 15, battling Chris Evert in the Women's French Open. Over the next few years, she matured as a tennis player and a woman, going on to be runner-up at the 1988 US Open, the 1990 winner of the US open, and the runner-up at Wimbledon in 1991. Sabatini was also a champion or runner-up in numerous double matches in which she partnered with tennis greats such as Steffi Graff and Martina Navratilova. Sabatini won the Silver medal for Argentina in the 1988 Olympics at Seoul, Korea. She retired from the world of professional tennis in 1996.Sabatini was always known and admired for her Latin beauty and personal style. A rose was named after her in 1992. She was commemorated with a doll in 1994, and published her motivational autobiography, My Story, that same year. Sabatini also modeled for numerous advertisements offering sporting goods, soft drinks and fashions.Gabriela Sabatini partnered with German perfume company Muelhens to produce a line of fragrances. Her signature scent, Gabriela Sabatini, debuted in 1989. A series of fragrances were introduced under the Gabriela Sabatini brand, primarily for women but including two scents for men, Devotion and Wild Wind. Designer Gabriela Sabatini has 19 perfumes in our fragrance base. The earliest edition was created in 1989 and the newest is from 2015. Gabriela Sabatini fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Martin Gras, Dorothee Piot, Harry Fremont, Christophe Raynaud, Francis Deleamont and Gilles Romey. more...
